pushplay app policies
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using a website, mobile app, prototype, support page, or other service published by Pushplay, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Scope
These terms apply to Pushplay apps and websites unless a specific app provides separate terms. Open source repositories may also include their own licenses. If there is a conflict between these terms and an open source license for a specific repository, the repository license controls for that code.
3. App Store and platform terms
If you download a Pushplay app through Apple’s App Store, TestFlight, or another distribution platform, your use may also be governed by that platform’s terms, rules, and payment policies. Platform terms control where they conflict with these terms.
4. Accounts, permissions, and access
Some apps may require accounts, authentication, device permissions, subscriptions, local network access, Bluetooth, camera access, cloud services, or other platform features. You are responsible for keeping your device, account credentials, and recovery methods secure.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Some apps may include paid downloads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid features. Prices, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are generally handled by the platform where the purchase was made unless app-specific terms say otherwise.
6. User content and app data
Some apps may allow you to create, import, upload, store, or share content. You are responsible for content you provide and must have the rights needed to use it. Do not use Pushplay apps or services to create, store, or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, or sensitive regulated content.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, attack, scrape, or interfere with Pushplay apps, websites, or services.
- Do not use the services for unlawful activity or to violate another person’s rights.
- Do not attempt to bypass payment, access controls, rate limits, security features, or platform restrictions.
- Do not reverse engineer closed-source apps except where allowed by law or by a specific license.
- Do not represent Pushplay, its apps, or its work in a misleading way.
8. Intellectual property
Pushplay owns or licenses the software, designs, logos, branding, copy, and other materials used in its apps and websites, except for third-party materials, platform materials, open source code, and user content. Open source projects are governed by the license included with that project.
9. Third-party links and services
Pushplay apps and websites may link to or integrate with third-party services such as app stores, cloud providers, analytics tools, GitHub, Medium, payment processors, or support services. Pushplay is not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, terms, outages, or availability.
10. No professional advice
Unless a specific app clearly says otherwise, Pushplay apps and content are provided for general informational, productivity, creative, research, utility, language-learning, or entertainment purposes. They are not professional legal, medical, financial, safety, or engineering advice.
11. Experimental and prototype work
Some Pushplay projects are prototypes, demos, sample code, or research experiments. They may be incomplete, unsupported, changed, removed, or archived at any time. Use prototypes and sample code at your own risk.
12. Disclaimers
Pushplay apps, websites, prototypes, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Pushplay does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or available at all times.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pushplay will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, device issues, service interruptions, or claims arising from your use of the services.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Pushplay harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, violation of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.
15. Changes to services or terms
Pushplay may update, suspend, discontinue, or modify apps, websites, features, or these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
16. Termination
Pushplay may suspend or terminate access to a service if you violate these terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users, or if the service is discontinued.
